Exhibition: "Why?"

In autumn 2009, the Roma Civil Rights Foundation invited entries for an open press photo competition for photographers who had documented last year's brutal attacks against Roma in Hungary. The Holocaust Memorial Center is currently hosting an exhibition of the 30 best works submitted. This exhibition pays tribute to the Roma victims of neo-fascism and also protests against the widening support for radical ideologies and violence.

Admission to the exhibition is free

A l’automne 2009 la Fondation des Droits Civils des Romes invitait à participer au concours, les photographes de presse qui avaient documenté les brutales attaques contre les Romes en Hongrie l'année dernière. Le Centre Mémorial de l’Holocauste abrite actuellement une exposition des trente meilleurs travaux sélectionnés. Cette exposition rend hommage aux victimes Romes du néofascisme tout en protestant contre le soutien accru aux idéologies radicales et à la violence.

L’entrée est gratuite
